Peruvian Calabash Cup. Decorated with scorpions and other designs. Rounded bottom has floral decoration Some fading of the brown coloration (possibly due to sun exposure) but otherwise in very good condition. Early 19th Century.
Clay. South American, possibly Amazonian. Ladle has two legs attached at base of bowl. The handle bears a resemblance to a South American coati. the bowl has a hole in it that was deliberately made, so possibly this object was used as a sieve of some kind. piece measures 1" high at back of bowl, @ 5" end-to end, and 2 3/4' high at handle.
Pre-Columbian Peru. 200-400 A.D. Red Clay. Two-color simple floral decoration on white ground at top and bottom of exteriors of bowls. 4" high. 5 1/2" wide at opening. Rounded bottoms. Small loss to bottom of one of the bowls. Priced as a pair
